Rice Cereal

Jason and I were especially happy to have Jackson turn four months old on Friday (January 22) because it meant we could feed him rice cereal for the first time. As you can see by the photos, he was not immediately thrilled about this new adventure. However, the next day we tried what my mom suggested: put a little rice cereal in his bottle. He loved it! Since then he eats less, seems to be more satisfied and the biggest perk of all: sleeping longer! We LOVE rice cereal!

I Caved...

Jason and I have resisted the temptation to start a blog now for a couple of years. Today, I caved. One of my goals for 2010 is to keep a better journal - especially now that I feel responsible to share precious memories about raising our little boy. So, I begin a journey in the unknown land of "blogging." It's a bit like embarking on an exciting journey that everyone tells you is "great" and "you'll love it" but until you've "been there" and "done that" you're not really sure what to expect. So, wish me bon voyage as I enter the blogosphere.
